DIY Yogurt Playdough

Jakob and I made a super simple playdough today. It is a really good playdough for toddlers since it is just two ingredients and safe to eat (it tastes nasty but won’t hurt them if they get a little in their mouth or if they lick it.)

What you will need:

  • 3/4 cup of corn starch
  • 1 cup of yogurt (Make sure it doesn’t have fruit chunks)
  • 2 spoons
  • 1 container
  • 3/4 cup measuring cup
  • 1 cup measuring cup

**If the mixture is too runny, add more cornstarch. If it is too thick, add more yogurt.**

Add one cup of yogurt to your dish.

Add 3/4 cup of cornstarch to the yogurt.

Mix it with a spoon until it becomes less sticky. Then knead any leftover cornstarch in with your hands.

This dough is so soft, light and easy to mold. It holds its shape as well.

We had so much fun making it and it is super simple to do.

Just remember to keep it stored in an air-tight container and it will keep for around 3 days as long as it is refrigerated after each use.
