**Note: If you don’t like beer, you can substitute it with any type of fizzy drink that you like.**

What you will need:

Dry ingredients

1 1/2 cup corn meal

1 1/2 cup All purpose flour

2 tbsp. sugar

3/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded

Wet ingredients:

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/3 cup sour cream

1 cup beer

1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup of cheese

6 slices of bacon

Pre-heat oven to 375.

First, put your cornmeal in a large bowl.  Add the flour, sugar and salt.

Now add your cheese and put your dry ingredients into your stand mixer bowl. (You can also use a hand mixer.)

In a separate bowl, combine your wet ingredients.  First, 1 cup of beer. (choose a beer you like.)

Add eggs to the beer as well as sour cream.

Add your melted butter and stir until combined.

Roughly chop your bacon and cook until crispy.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

Mix until well combined and pour into a 9×13 pan.

Top with cheese and bacon.  Bake in oven at 375 for 30-35 minutes.

Cool, serve and enjoy.  So delicious!  Definitely worth the time!
