RECIPE: Simple Homemade Fries

I thought I would share my quick, cheap french fries recipe because it is so quick and much tastier than store-bought fries.

So let’s get started:

You will need (four servings):

10 small potatoes

1/8 cup vegetable oil

1/8 cup coconut oil

2 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, rosemary

1 tsp paprika, parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

A knife and a baking sheet and two bowls.

First, reheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Now you will want to mix the vegetable oil and coconut oil together in one bowl.

In the second bowl mix all the seasoning together.

First slice each potato in half lengthwise.

Then slice each half like this.  So you make slightly rounded slices.

Now you want to add the potato slices to the oil and toss.

Then add the spices and toss, making sure each fry is coated.

Now line them on your pan and into the oven for 15 mins then flip them over and cook for another 15 mins.

You are done! Fast, easy and cheap homemade fries!
