RECIPE: Two super yummy and low-cal smoothies

This are simple smoothies you can make in any blender style appliance you have, I used a normal blender for mine. Best of all, these have no added sugar and they are pretty low-cal as well.

I really like smoothies in the spring/summer because when it’s hot out, I don’t like to be full of heavy foods.  As well as I am on the go a lot so smoothies are great for getting out the door quickly.

The first one is my all-time fave!

Banana Coffee Smoothie:



What you need is:

1.5 frozen banana

1/2 cup of almond milk (You can use whatever milk you like.)

1 tsp Vanilla

2 tsp instant coffee (I used Nescafe but you can use your preferred brand.)

Just add it all to the blender and mix it together.

It makes a nice, smooth texture.

This recipe makes two servings and has 124 calories per serving.


The next smoothie is my favorite berry smoothie.  Again it is also low cal and filling which is an added bonus.



What you will need:

1/2 cup of almond milk

2 frozen bananas

25 blueberries

4 strawberries

This smoothie makes 2 servings as well and has 151 calories per serving.
