Well I realized that lately I have slipped into making the same chicken every time we have it. I had some extra time today so I decided let’s try something new. What I came up with was sweet garlic chicken. Yum!
So I figured I’d share it with you all so you can stop having the same old chicken.
First you will need chicken breast, for me, I got a pack of four skinless boneless chicken breasts. First up the sauce.
Super easy, all you need is six garlic cloves minced or food processed, sautee them in 2 tbsp of oil (I prefer olive oil but any oil you want.) Then add one cup of brown sugar and a 1/4 cup of water.
Cook it out until well combined and bubbly.
Next you want to put your chicken breasts in a baking dish and cover them in the garlic sauce. Place them in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 400F, making sure to baste them with sauce every 5-10minutes.
Now I served my chicken along side a mango chipotle rice with green peppers and sauteed asparagus but you can choose your favorite chicken sides.
Definitely adding this recipe to my collection! Yummy!
